Assignment 2 - One Malaysia Poster

For Semester 3 Assignment 2, we created a moving poster based on the theme 'One Malaysia'. This poster was created by using Adobe Flash CS5. These are the steps in the making of my poster:

First, a new file is created by the size of 320x240px. Then the layer is filled with the colour black as background. The items from the typography poster in assignment one is imported into the library.

Next, open a new layer and name it red and insert a new key frame by pressing f6 and draw a circle as shown in the image and fill it with red.

Then insert another key frame and import the red human figure from the library and create a shape tween by right clicking the image and create shape tween.

Do the same for the colour blue, yellow and white each on a different layer.

Next, create a new layer named malaysia logo and drag in the One Malaysia logo and place it outside of the canvas. Convert the image into a symbol. Insert a new key frame and create a motion tween and drag the image to the position below the four human figures.

Drag in the word Malaysia from the library into a new layer and insert a new key frame. Break the image by pressing B. Erase the image part by part and press f6 after every part erased. Then select all the frames and right click and select reverse frames. 

Import the word unity from the library and place it above the canvas. Select it and go to its properties. Change the style under the colours and effects in the initial key frame to alpha. Then create a motion tween and drag it into the canvas.

Next is the word 'is' one a new layer and create a motion tween making it entering from the left part of the canvas.

Create a new layer and import the word strength into a new keyframe. Right click the word and create a classic tween. Flip the image while enlarging it. Then create a new key frame and create a classic tween and enlarge it on one key frame and minimize it on another. Repeat this several times to have a effect like heart beating.

Lastly is the white circle at the background, also imported from the previous poster. Create a new layer insert a key frame with the image. Create a classic tween from the black background to the background with the white circle and change the style settings to alpha.

The final output is as follows:
