Blog header!

Since this blog is something personal and contains my artwork, I decided to make my own header for the blog as well. As the title for my blog is "Photoshop For The Win!" (not WTF reversed) I made the picture showing that the photoshop icon is dominating the illustrator icon.

This is how my artwork is done:

Step 1:

I drew the two icons using Adobe Illustrator. I used the rectangle tool and 3D effect to draw the icons and fill them with gradient colors after that.

Step 2:

I exported the artwork to Adobe Photoshop and pasted an image that I found on the net as the background for the artwork.

Step 3:

Next, I added a lens flare behind the photoshop icon so for some effects and to show power and dominance.

Step 4:

Then, I adjusted the contrast and brightness of the artwork so that it matches the background.

Step 5:

Finally, I move the artwork back to Adobe Illustrator to add the header title and filled it with color. 

And my header is ready to be uploaded!
