Gamut Warning!

Have you ever experienced getting a printout result that don't quite looks like your artwork in computer? I've been wondering what is the problem all this while and after the last tutorial session, my questions are cleared.

This is due to something called gamut. So... What is gamut?

A gamut is the range of colors that a color system can display or print. A color that can be displayed in RGB may be out of gamut, and therefore unprintable for the CMYK settings.

Ways to solve Gamut problems:-

Gamut Warning View.
If you want to see which particular colors are out-of-gamut, you can do this using Shift-Ctrl-Y or View > Gamut Warning. This grayed out view is not what will show when you print, but this shows you which of your colors will be muted for printing.

To solve.

First, choose a the image or artwork you wanted to print.

As your press Ctrl-Shift-Y to enable the gamut warning, you can clearly see the areas who are out of range.

Go to Image > Adjustment > Hue/Saturation to adjust it to get the optimum result.

This is the end result. Now you can get exactly what you see on your screen.
Good luck trying!
